Kids know the drill. The trickster fox wants an easy meal. Then who should happen along but an innocent goose.
SPOILER ALERT: The kids (goslings) in Mo Willems story seem to know the storyline too; and they warn the goose over and over again. But she just goes along with apparent naivety. However, she’s not the gullible dope she seems. So it’s the fox who ends up in the pot of stew.
This is as good as it gets for a preschool/kindergarten read aloud. Predictable repeated text, predictable storyline and (oh wait a second) tricky ending! My class absolutely loved it!
